Tasting Notes:

‘ Lemon color. Expressive aromas of tropical fruit, followed by floral scent, such as jasmine and orange blossom. On the palate it carries a bit of zest, rich tropical fruit, apricot and a hint of chestnut. Slightly toasted. The wine is complex but yet very delicate in all phases of development. Incredible length with a kick of powerful concentration. The wine reminds one of the Meursault from Bourgogne - not a surprise as owner Laurent’s family have a close background with the region. Simply savoury! ‘

Thing you should know:

Originally from Burgundy, owners Catherine and Laurent Delaunay spent several years searching for an exceptional terroir in the South of France where they could craft great wines from their favourite grapes, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It is in the mountainous region surrounding the Village of Magrie that they were lucky to find the right terroirs they were seeking, which, in combination with the cool climate particular to this part of the Languedoc, can produce top quality wines.
